Fun Facts
The one thing that I love to do is travel. Visiting new places and experiencing new cultures is the most fun thing to do. My favorite destinations are in Europe because I love each individual country's culture. I have yet to visit Asia, Africa, Australia, and South America
About Me
I am a recently graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. There I concentrated on international affairs and U.S. Foreign Policy. Eventually I want to go to graduate school where I can receive a degree in International Affairs and someday work for an a think tank that specializes on foreign policy.
I tutored kids at a LAPD sponsored after school program called PALS where I helped kids aged from 7-18 in math, english, science, history, political science, and reading-comprehension/california/los-angeles">reading comprehension. I was also a teachers assistant for a lower-division class at UCLA. There I reviewed essays and graded tests for a class of 45 students. Occasionally, I would give pointers and study tips in front of the class
My tutoring approach involves guiding the student to the answer, not giving it to him/her. I want to make sure that the student knows that absolute basics so that I know where the root of the problems is. Then, I would proceed to give the student practice problems that would increase in difficulty so that I could get a better understanding of the student's limits.
