English Tutoring

I have taken multiple courses in college writing skills classes. I have taken an argumentative English writing class as well which I really enjoyed. Additionally, I've spent sometime in the Fresno State Writing Center receiving tutoring which has allowed me to pick up on good tutoring tips.

Psychology Tutoring

I have taken numerous psychology classes including: abnormal psych, experimental psych, family counseling, social psych. I am currently enrolled in neuroscience, learning and memory psych, and developmental psych! My overall Psychology GPA is a 4.0.

Writing Tutoring

I have always had a love for writing ever since I was seven years old. For as long as I could remember I was always writing small little stories. I continued my love for writing in my formal education by taking numerous English writing classes which I have received As in. One of my professors even asked to publish my essay in the school's database for future students to use as a source!

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

I have been reading for pleasure since I was eight years old. I absolutely love to read. This, of course, has transferred over into my college courses. My extensive background and love of reading has helped me tremendously in understanding advanced college readings.

I have always enjoyed history even though I don't have many opportunities to take it in college because I am a psych major. The two history courses that I was mandated to take for my lower general education requirement, I very much enjoyed and received an A as a final grade in both classes.

Science Tutoring

At first, science wasn't always my favorite. I struggled with it too! The first D I received on a test in my entire life was in my science class in elementary school. Science and I had a very hate-love relationship, I hated it because of the complexity, but I loved it because it was something I would definitely need in the psychology field. It wasn't until I took an advanced biology course in college that I finally had an "ah-ha" moment with science, and from then on I haven't had a problem with the subject! Currently I am taking an advanced course in neuroscience.

Elementary Math Tutoring

I am definitely confident in my elementary math skills even though it's been awhile since I was in elementary school! I have taken two advanced statistics courses in college and I received A's in both classes as a final grade.

Social Studies Tutoring

I am currently in my fourth year of college and I can safely say that along the way I learned many helpful tips and tricks for studying/completing homework. I have dealt with Microsoft in general since senior year of high school. I feel extremely comfortable using Windows and all of it's programs.

Ah yes, Word. I have spent A LOT of time on this program either writing essays, research papers, or even a fun little writing for my own personal sell. I know Word like the back of my hand. Additionally, I know both MLA and APA formatting.
