About Me
I am an asset manager at Turner Studios. I have a Bachelors degree in Communications with minors in Business and Italian. I am pursuing a Masters in Journalism.
Experience
I have been working with your students since I was in high school. From summer camps to tutoring on the weekend I always enjoyed my time with young students. In college I helped to tutor and guide my fellow sorority sisters, organized study groups, and had plenty of tutoring myself. Now as an adult I feel that I can give some of my knowledge and passion for learning back to others.
Approach
As a student with dyslexia I always have to go the extra mile. Triple spell checking, making sure my sentences and grammar line up, etc. This has made me a diligent learner and one who is very organized. I believe in making study schedules, outlines, study guides, and I am very into the flash card method. It is important through the sessions that the material is learned not memorized. I like to take an approach where the material seems relatable and relevant to students lives.

Communications
AP History Tutoring
During my high school years I was always in honors history. I Took AP European History (Received a 3) and AP US History (Received a 4) - I love history especially American. I was exempt from all History classes in college but still took many classes that were history focused in college. I have many study tips and tricks to help learn the vast and detailed time periods that are the focus of history classes.
English Tutoring
I took honors english for four years, I took world literature, creative writing, and a class on great american novels as electives. I am an avid reader and love to be in discussion about a great book. I have a great appreciation for the classics and understand the importance of their place in modern society. In college my english track was focused on American Literature. I have written many essays on American literature and have read certain American staples multiple times.
History Tutoring
I took honors world civilization, honors US history, AP Us History, and AP European history. I have a continued interest in history and have not stopped my learning
Writing Tutoring
The skills I gained in high school helped me write all of my papers in college and beyond. I would love the chance to help a student refine their writing skills. My senior year I took AP Language and Composition (receiving a score of 4). I have a strong grasp on paper structure, grammar, argument formation, thesis development, citation, and more.
