I am interested in just about everything! I love art and music, but I also love science and math, and because of that I am studying mechanical engineering. I also love to travel, and I've been to over 15 countries.

About Me

I'm currently in my Junior year of the Mechanical Engineering Program at the University of Utah. I look forward to graduating and getting a job. I'd like to work in the areas of manufacturing and design.

I taught English at Weibo International for a year in Changzhou, China. Weibo is a private institute with small classes of one to eight students, who could be anywhere from 13 to adults in age. I frequently worked one on one with students.

When tutoring students, I feel that the most important thing is to find those areas that are most challenging and really work with them on those areas--whether those areas are in specific classes or with their general approach to studying.

A lot of times students dread certain topics, like math, because they've had bad experiences with them. Tutors can help rebuild that confidence when it's been hurt and help students realize they really can do well in those subjects.
