I love traveling and you will catch me trying to do a lot of home decor projects. I am also the first child in my family to go to college.
About Me
I currently attend UC Davis as a microbiology student. I am passionate about helping other people and i love seeing them succeed in what they do. I would like to work with children as a doctor in my later career as i feel i have a calling to this profession.
Experience
I had the opportunity to work with multiple college students during my community college years( American River College). I tutored mainly math and sciences to both college and elementary school students. I volunteered my time in assisting my teacher with after class questions and i also led a small study group for one of her junior classes. I was fortunate to work with disabled students as well as their class aid and learn a lot about their learning needs.
Approach
My approach to tutoring other is to bring positivity, motivation and encouragement. As a tutor i also try to see what approcah the student takes on best. Some students prefer to be shown everything and some students prefer to meet you half way. I believe the learning style a student has can be expounded on to improve their understanding of the material. I do teach by problem solving verses giving the answers.

College Algebra Tutoring
I took college algebra and scored an A in the class. I have also tutored multiple students for this class.

I took two college English courses and scored an A in the classes. I have also tutored multiple students for both english writing and reading. I have also worked with ESL students.

Math comes easy for me and due to this i have gotten straight A's in all my math classes. I am confident that i will be able to give my students the best and something i completely enjoy.
