Fun Facts
I have a passion for helping people, hence why I am majoring in nursing, and also love to be active. I love running, dancing and traveling. I have traveled to thirteen countries and cannot wait to add to my list. I have one older brother and a golden retrieve and I LOVE dogs.
About Me
I am a sophomore Nursing major at Texas Christian University. I have been on the Dean's List every semester! When I graduate, I hope to either extend my education and become a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience
I tutored fellow students in high school back at home in California in both science and math and I hope to impact more students in those particular subject areas at TCU!
Approach
I posses a lot of patience and positivity so as a tutor, I try to exemplify these characteristics. I never get upset with a student I am working with if they have trouble understanding me and will keep encouraging them. However, I never give the answers away. I make the students work out problems and think through them in order for them to understand how to do it on their own so that they will be able to excel on exams when I am not there to help them.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I took Anatomy & Physiology I my first semester during my Freshman year. I loved the class and my interest in nursing spiked even more by taking this class. I got an A as my final grade in the semester. On top of that, my test average was a B+. I also excelled in the lab portion.
Anatomy Physiology II Tutoring
I took Anatomy & Physiology II my second semester during my Freshman year. I loved the class and my interest in nursing spiked even more by taking this class. I got an A as my final grade in the semester. On top of that, my test average was a B+. I also excelled in the lab portion.
Microbiology Tutoring
I took Microbiology my first semester during my sophomore year. I really enjoyed this class and instructor (Dr. Jones), developed good study habits and developed an in depth understanding of microbiology. My final grade in the class was an A and my overall test average was a B/B+. I also excelled in the lab portion of this class.
