Fun Facts

I study languages in my free time, focusing on Japanese. I love to cook and read, usually fiction, specifically Russian and Irish literature. I know how to juggle and ice skated for six years. I dabble with musical instruments such as piano, guitar, saxophone, bass, ukulele, mandolin, and violin. I am also an avid gamer; specifically, Assassins Creed, Minecraft, Portal, Half Life, and other Steam games which allows me to connect to a lot of the younger students I manhattan">tutor. About Me

I am currently a first year in my second semester at New York University but credit-wise place at a fourth semester student. My major GPA is a 3.8, that being Journalism- Linguistics dual. I am also pursuing a minor in Japanese language. My career goals are in the realm of journalistic writing and/or news and translation.

Four years of manhattan">tutoring experience (includes all core middle and high school classes) e. g. sciences, math, and english credits, as well as additional elective credits; also ran manhattan">tutoring organization throughout school district.

I genuinely like learning new things and try to instill that into other students. This is really at the heart my manhattan">tutoring. If the student isn't enjoying what they are learning or the process, there is little hope for retention. Thus, I do my best to show students how fascinating whatever subject it is they are studying can be and how rewarding it is when they get back their A's. For writing, my favorite thing to manhattan">tutor, I break down the essay into manageable parts so that students focus on their own rhetoric and developed ideas instead of a menacing page limit.
