About Me

I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry from California State University, Los Angeles in 2011 with a GPA of 3.5. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Molecular Cell Biology with an emphasis in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2004. I hope to obtain a PhD in the near the future.

I have worked as a tutor for college, graduate, high school, junior high school and elementary school students. My tutoring experience ranges from giving private instruction to working with groups in an on-campus learning center. Approach

Teaching gives me great pleasure and I believe everyone has the capacity to get great grades and do well in school. I try to make the subject matter as simple as I possibly can. I always look to focus on the basic concept underlying the subject I am tutoring and to present this in a way that is intuitive and transparent.
