Fun Facts
I enjoy writing poetry frequently as both a form of expression as well as a form of catharsis. I initially thought of pursuing a degree in Psychology when I began my first year of college, but I declared my major as International Studies at the end of my sophomore year. However, I still enjoy studying psychology whenever I can. Finally, I enjoy taking photos and editing them.
About Me
I went to Adelphi University during my freshman year of college, but then transferred to American University for my sophomore year. In American University, I graduated with a 3.36 GPA and was initiated a member of its honor society during my last semester there. I just completed my first semester at washington-university">George washington-university">Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs in December 2013 with a major in International Affairs. My current GPA with GWU is 3.46.
Unfortunately, I do not possess any professional washington-dc">tutoring experience. However, I have frequently assisted my classmates, over these past years, in understanding readings and projects assigned to us for different courses. Especially this past semester in GWU, I have helped my peers in understanding different theories and policies of International trade, theories, policy issues, and terminology of International Affairs, and etc. I have not ever officially been a washington-dc">tutor, but I have had plenty of experience in actually washington-dc">tutoring.
Before actually washington-dc">tutoring, I like to make an assessment of what exactly the individual I am washington-dc">tutoring is having trouble in understanding about the subject. After I completely understand what the source of misunderstanding is, then I either draw up a study plan for the student or develop an alternative and more simpler way of teaching the material. The method I choose or whether or not I choose both is dependent upon the depth of the material.
