About Me
I have a Bachelors Degree of Science in Physics and Mathematics (Minor) from California State University East Bay. I have specialized in Atomic Physics through years of research in fundamental aspects of the field. Along with Physics my interests are very are broad ranging from critically analyzing media like movies and games to exploring science/california/san-francisco">Computer Science. My goals as a person are to contribute to our society in aspects that I find to be very important and interesting. Like doing original scientific research, or coming up with art work in entertainment fields.
Being a college student, I had to support myself financially and I love education. So I started tutoring and assisting professors since my sophomore year. I found the job to very interesting, as it let me realize the pleasure, burden, and responsibility of being a teacher. I tutored in different settings, each one giving me unique experiences. I tutored at a high school for remedial math class and I saw how hard it is to convey something when students are not ready to receive it. Slowly I realized that even though at first it seemed very hard to teach there, but it was possible with effort and dedication.
I grew up idealizing teachers. They always had answers to my question or insight to my inquiries or wisdom to my troubled thoughts. My teachers influenced me the most throughout my academic career and that showed me how important of a role teacher plays. I learned a lot about teaching from my favorite teachers and developed my own set of ideas over time. One of the methods I personally enjoy and believe that its important is to give students a historical background about things that are being taught.
