Fun Facts
One fun fact about me is that I love travel and I used to work on a cruise ship! My first undergraduate degree was in jazz music and I have toured most of North America singing with the Studioettes. I also backpacked many countries in Europe and have been to New Zealand, Australia, and even South Korea!
About Me
I am currently in medical school for a degree in Naturopathic Medicine. I received my undergraduate degree in Alternative Medicine and my ultimate goal is to have my own practice in the Women’s Health field.
I am very active in my community and have enjoyed working at orphanages as a tutor and mentor. I also worked as a nanny and have experience tutoring many levels of education.
I have lived in many places and have travelled the world. I would love to bring my experiences into my lessons!
Experience
I have experience working with a children of all ages. I have nannied for ages 6 months-16 years old. In high school, I co-directed many musicals, volunteered my time to tutor middle school ESL classes, and was part of Kiwanis Club and National Junior Honor Society. I was very active in undergrad as part of the SGA and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Alternative Medicine. I am currently a graduate student of Medicine at the bridgeport">University of Bridgeport.
Approach
I believe in positive reinforcement and teaching children with examples that are pertinent to their subject. My mother is a principle at an elementary school in Florida and I have had the opportunity of learning by example through her classrooms and teaching style. As a tutor, I teach by example and focus on positive steps for each individual student.
