Fun Facts
I love to sing in act!!!! I studied voice seriously for 8 years and have been in many theater productions throughout my life. I was a cheerleader from middle school into part of my time in college. Some of my best memories come from my time in cheer. Cooking and baking are huge passions of mine. Feeding my family and friends is one way I show my love. At Christmas time my family and I bake 100 lbs of Italian Christmas Cookies.
About Me
I have an A.S. in Health Science from Goodwin College. My graduating GPA was 3.71. I have worked in both Pathology and Research Laboratories I love helping students develop critical thinking skills that help them become successful. The next step academically is to get a B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science.
Experience
I started my tutoring journey as a peer tutor at Goodwin College. I worked as a peer tutor for one year. My job responsibilities included working as a teacher's assistant in a fundamental math class, engaged in one on one tutoring sessions, conducted group study sessions. I have worked as a professional tutor for 4 years. Subjects tutored in include elementary and middle school math & science, HS and College Algebra I & II, Biology, Chemistry Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Microbiology, & Nursing
Approach
My approach is individual to each student. I help each student discover their preferred learning style. Then we work together to discover the best study methods. I believe in listening to my students. I am patient and committed to helping my students become successful. I will give 110% as long as my student does the same.
