Fun Facts

I am a graphic novel enthusiast. I used to collect comic books until I needed the money for food when I got to college. I spend most of my free time reading or running. I have ran multiple marathons and hope to one day complete a ful IronMan Triathlon.

About Me

I am a fourth-year Political Science major at UCLA. I spent my first two years of college at UC riverside">Riverside before I transfered to UCLA. I spent half of my life part of the Boy Scouts of America program and reached the rank of Eagle just before I moved out to college.

I currently volunteer every Friday as part of an on-campus organization that provides one-on-one tutors and mentors to students of Berendo Middle School in Los Angeles. Additionally, I used to be an instructor teaching a class of 15 students at an after school learning center called Harmony Tree Learning Center. I thoroughly enjoyed both of these experiences interacting with the kids.

Having experienced teaching a class and tutoring one-on-one, my preferred approach revolves around getting to know the students and developing a friendly relationship with them. I find that a one-on-one approach allows me to give my full attention to the needs of the student given that I believe that every student learns and excels in a unique and individual manner.
