Fun Facts

Two of my favorite things to do are watch baseball (Go Rangers!) and go horseback riding. If I'm not writing stories of my own, I'm probably reading somewhere with a good book. If I had the choice, I would buy a one-way plane ticket and travel the world because I've always wanted to experience other countries.

About Me

Currently, I am a sophomore at dallas-baptist-university">Dallas Baptist University, and I am studying English. I have been on the Dean's List and the President's List. Although I don't yet know what I want to do in the future (I'm still working on that!), I hope to one day publish my own novels and share my hobby of writing with others.

I have worked with elementary students in a summer program called After the Bell. In the program, we help the students participate in academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities. I helped dallas">tutor some students in math, writing, and science.
In addition, I have tutored an aspiring teacher who needed help to pass her teacher's certification. I tutored her several times, and she passed the exam!

I believe that all students can like school if they have the right motivation and a good mentor. In my opinion, all students--if they work hard enough and are willing to learn--can do well in school and earn A's. As a dallas">tutor, I will bring enthusiasm and a thirst for learning. Consistency is key! I hope that when I dallas">tutor students, school comes alive. I want the students to love to learn as much as I do and know that they can do well and do great things because I believe in them!
