Fun Facts

I'm from Long Island, now living in Corpus Christi, Texas! I'm the youngest of 5, with 4 older sisters! I love cooking steak and asparagus, and pasta with a cheese sauce. I can play the hand flute, which I've practicing for years! My favorite piece to perform is a really out of tune version of jingle bells. I hope I can make your educational dreams come true!

About Me

Hi! My name is Eli and I'm very passionate about math, science, and music! I'm an aspiring math major, most likely going for a master's in education, after undergrad. I play piano, write music, and watch math videos on YouTube in my spare time! (It's way more fun than it sounds).

My goal is to become a math teacher, who produces music on the side. I want to teach high school calculus, and If you want to see a video of me dividing by zero, click here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aJOwRdibz

Experience

Growing up I always enjoyed having the opportunity to teach people subjects I was proficient at/passionate about. I've tutored physics and math before! And I've tutored a bit of clarinet back in high-school. (I've played clarinet for about 12 years)

Approach

My approach is to break things down into as many steps as possible, because to me this is the easiest way to digest something. I like to ask lots of questions, trying to pinpoint exactly where the student's knowledge gaps are. And I LOVE encouraging people!
