Fun Facts
I am the third brother in my family to attend UC Berkeley and play Division 1 soccer, but the only one to stop playing in order to focus my efforts on my school work. I enjoy snowboarding and anything related to vacations in Lake Tahoe. I drove all day and night from Kansas City to watch the sunrise over the Grand Canyon and it was absolutely worth it.
About Me
I am a senior at UC Berkeley and I am majoring in Business Administration in the Haas School of Business Undergraduate degree program. I have a 3.5 GPA, and have already accepted an offer to work for an Investment Management in San Francisco firm beginning July 2014. I would like to have my company one day.
I tutored math and history, at various levels, throughout high school. When I played on the Cal Men's Soccer team, I was the team tutor and in charge of facilitating study groups for teammates in a variety of subjects including Calculus, Humanities, and Contract Law.
I believe that different students learn better through different methods, some students find flashcards and sheer memorization the most effective. While other students need to work through examples. No matter the student, it is important for students to understand their mistakes and become comfortable with struggle. I find it useful to make connections between different subjects and encourage students to look for examples of what they study in their own lives.
