I am a huge fan of classic and muscle cars! You can find me at your local car show in the summer, admiring the beautiful automobiles.

I used to be a bill collector while in high school. I enjoyed the pay but o could do without trying to convince people to pay their bills.

About Me

I am a father, husband, son, brother, and uncle and teacher. I take pride in having the responsibility and pressure of being a role model to not only my kids but also the students I serve on a daily basis.

Experience

I have previous writing tutor experience at the college level. I have received my bachelors degree in English (advanced writing of fiction) and my masters degree in elementary education. I have also received my Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (education/illinois/chicago">special education) certificate. I have years of educating students from all various backgrounds and abilities from pre-k to 12th grade.

Approach

My approach is to establish a positive relationship with my client. Once a relationship has been established. It is important to create a routine that is grounded in consistency and organization. I plan on assessing a clients needs while also giving opportunities for enrichment while keep all parties involved with appropriate supports and resources that they can use as well.
