About Me

My name is Hoang, (pronounced “Wang”). I received my Bachelor from California State University, Fullerton and Master in Guidance and Counseling from Loyola Marymount University.

I have over two years of tutoring in subjects ranging from Algebra to Language Arts.

Experience

I’ve had over three years of experience tutoring a wide range of subjects including AVID, SAT Prep, Arithmethic, Geometry, Algebra, Psychology, APaa, MLA format, I facilitated over ten group discussions as an AVIDMy favorite part of tutoring high school students is their increased confidence

Approach

I think of tutoring as an opportunity to help clients reach their potential.
I use a client-centered approach while asking important questions when necessary in order to facilitate problem solving and critical thinking skills.
