Fun Facts

I enjoy skiing and tennis as sports in addition to working out in the gym. I enjoy travelling and have been all over Europe. In addition, I enjoy cooking a variety of different cuisines that I experience on my trips. Other than that I enjoy my grandchildren and love watching them grow up and become smarter every day.

About Me

I am a semi-retired professor engaged in tutoring for science, math, test prep and STEM as well as other science and mathematics courses. I have a PhD in biomedical and computer engineering, an MS in molecular biology and an MBA in finance. I am interested in many scientific topics and have considerable experience performing both theoretical simulations as well as practical laboratory experiments. I can bring a wealth of knowledge to many different students in a variety of subject areas.

Experience

I have been tutoring for the past five years in primarily test prep which includes GMAT, SAT, GRE, ACT, MCAT, and LSAT. I have ten years of experience teaching students at the University level in various engineering, science, and mathematics disciplines. I have also had experience tutoring my children and grandchildren in basic mathematics, English and science courses. Working with Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact the lives of the many students that need help.

Approach

I look at students skill sets and tutor them to enhance the skills where they are the weakest. I also concentrate on making them increase their strong skills so that they may excel overall in their work. Constantly working on increasing weakness and enhancing strengths enables students to optimize their performance.
