I am a history geek!! I love going on a search to learn about things from the past. I knew I had a love for history and wanted to get others excited about learning history at a very young age. Being a young educator I have have found new and innovative ways to get my students to love it just as I do. In addition, I love to swim and have been a swim instructor and life guard for 4 years just for my leisure and that I think everyone should know how to swim.If

About Me

I am a full time education/maryland/baltimore">Special Education teachers for Baltimore City. I teach subjects, such as literacy, math, science, and social studies. In addition, I teach support interventions to my students which outline subjects, math and reading. I graduated from Bowie State University with a B.S. in History. Currently, I am enrolled in a Masters of Education specializing in education/maryland/baltimore">Special Education at Walden University.

Experience

In my undergraduate career, I had teaching internships varying from grades 1st to 9th grade, teaching all subjects. I also have been employed at Kindercare Leaning Centers and Goddard School as a pre-k teacher. I have about 6 year in this field. I also minored in education during my undergraduate career.

Approach

I feel that since I chose to come out of college and go right into the education field to be a teacher, it is my civil duty to be passionate and want to help students learn and love learning. I took on the title as an educator and I keep myself engaged in the learning process for my students. I had a teacher in the 7th grade that invested her extra time in making sure I received an effective education and I want to do the same for others.
