Fun Facts
I was born in Houston, and when I was 8, I moved to Richmond, a southwest Houston suburb. I like sports in general, especially soccer. I am the youngest of 3, and nobody listens to Green Day more than I do.
About Me
I am a pre-pharmacy student at houston">University of Houston. I am in my 3rd year. I mostly like doing research. In fact, that's what I want for my full-time job.
Experience
I have been tutoring at Houston Community College for 4 years. I tutor students in Spanish and chemistry at the basic and intermediate levels. The Foreign Language Department provided me with textbooks to help me stay on subject with students. I ask and answer academic questions, using examples relating to a particular subject, provide services for students increasing effective work results, process new students assuring individuals' learning needs are met, provide support services required.
Approach
In my approach to tutoring, I plan to make rhymes and songs to help the students memorize vocabulary in language studies, and formulas for chemistry and math, as well.
