Fun Facts
I have taught myself to draw and paint when I was 15. I mainly do acrylic painting and I am working on improving my art. I also like reading, especially, fiction literature.
About Me
I am a fourth-year student at Sacramento State University and will be graduating in Spring 2020. I am studying Cell and Molecular biology and minoring in art studio and chemistry. I am aiming to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
Experience
I am a peer mentor in a program called in Commit to Study, I help students with their study skills and present workshops about the growth mindset and skills necessary to succeed in classes. In addition, I volunteer as a teacher assistant at SALAM Sunday school. Furthermore, I have tutored algebra when I was in high school.
Approach
I believe that everyone is smart in their own way and that everyone has their own specialty. Thus, it is necessary that we help others to find their specialty and support and advice is needed to overcome difficulties.
