Fun Facts

I am a true Angelino, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Winter is my favorite time of year because I get to enjoy my favorite sport - snowboarding! I also enjoy taking photographs and oil painting landscapes. The best part of the day is coming home to my three golden retrievers.

About Me

I did my undergraduate work at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and recently completed a Post Baccalaureate Premedical Program at the University of Southern California (USC). I am currently applying to medical school. When not in class, I spend as much time as possible volunteering in the medical community. This includes experience in hospitals, community clinics and lab research.

While at USC, I had the opportunity to tutor and mentor incoming Post-Baccalaureate students, and help them adjust to the premedical curriculum. This included coursework in biology, chemistry, organic chemistry and physics. I am very excited to apply these skills to assisting other students interested in the sciences.

While I love these subjects, I myself have had to overcome unfamiliar terminology and overwhelming, complex concepts. I believe that success comes from simplifying coursework - first focusing on the big picture and then breaking subjects down to tackle smaller details. Well organized notes and simple diagrams can often make a huge difference. My goal is to spread my enthusiasm for the sciences to all of my students to ensure their success!
