I love to assist students in the basic subjects and help them to grow and learn in their studies. I am a book worm by nature and love to read on various subjects. Hence, I have a love for reading. My hobbies consist of walking, trips to various museums and writing poetry. I love the outdoors and nature as well. Also, I love family time with my daughter and son.

About Me

I currently am self-employed as a in home caregiver and also work in property management on the side. Both enable me to have a flexible schedule in which I can utilize my skills to assist students in various subjects. My goal is to open my own property management company one day, and to become a master in tutoring as well.

Experience

I have done prior tutoring for a company called Healthy Families located in Washington D.C. however they had tutors throughout California. I also worked as a elementary tutor in high school in my senior year. I am eager to volunteer my time to good causes. My other experience is in the office at IRS where I worked as a tax technician and case investigator; this was only seasonal. I feel tutoring is more of what I'm made for as it gives me the opportunity to help students learn at their own pace.

Approach

I am very friendly and know how to relate to children being a parent of 4 kids who are fully grown now. This has given me good experience as a security mom, coach, teacher, and nurse all in one. I understand some subjects can be very challenging for students so I try to help you learn and grow at your own pace but also encourage you in your studies.
