Fun Facts
Born in Norfolk, raised in Virginia Beach so, I am definitely a native. I LOVE food and desserts and my hobby is cooking. I enjoy learning new things, my favorite color is blue and I really love turtles. I have a passion for math and the military. Someday, I hope to go sky diving.
About Me
I am a sophomore majoring in Mathematics with a teaching licensure at Old Dominion University. I graduated from an IB school as Salutatorian and my ultimate goal is to become a on officer in the Army working in military intelligence and getting my PhD in mathematics to retire and become a professor teaching calculus l and above.
Experience
I was in the number one NJROTC unit in the country at Green Run High School and in doing over the course of four years I have earned over 250 hours helping my classmates and giving back to my community. I was a volunteer tutor after school in high school (for math,of course) and currently, I will work with the ODU resource center in the Spring 2019 semester to be a tutor. Furthermore, my concentration courses require me to develop innovative lesson plans to teach different levels of math.
Approach
Teachers have had the greatest impact in my life as I did not come from the best home life. I believe teachers are essential in developing the next generation and ultimately the future of this country. I am constantly working to be a part of a great group of role models one student at a time.

Mathematics with a Teaching Preparation concentration
Calculus I Tutoring
I tutored a lot of my classmates who were struggling and asked for help. In doing so, I also helped them prepare for the final exam. I received a score of 4 on the AP Calculus exam.
Math Tutoring
This level of math is very general and simple I am in higher level courses that require to use these skills everyday. My degree focuses on math primarily to be able to teach anyone.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I am currently in calculus l, I had taken precalc in 10th grade and passed the class with an A. I received a score of 4 on the AP Calculus exam.
Algebra Tutoring
My degree focuses on higher level math and requires me to have basic Algebra concepts known thoroughly to be able to teach anyone. I had taken this class in middle school and am able to help anyone in need.
Algebra II Tutoring
I had taken this class my freshman year of high school. My degree focuses on higher level math and requires me to have basic Algebra concepts known thoroughly to be able to teach anyone.
Calculus Tutoring
I received a score of 4 on the AP Calculus exam. Furthermore, I have taken both AP and IB calculus in high school. My degree consists of Calculus l, ll, lll, and lV.

Middle school math consists of basic concepts to be able to introduce students to algebra and geometry to students. My degree requires to me to be able to teach those concepts and I am currently teaching and observing a middle school math class this semester.
