Fun Facts
Although I excelled at all my subjects while in school math has always been closest to my heart and easier to understand. I reside in the west suburbs of Chicago where I am also pursuing computer IT certifications and with my scraps of time that remains after my other priorities are taking care of, making music is also another passion of mine.
About Me
I am a student of Micro Train pursuing my A+, Network + and Security + certifications. Although I have attended 3 colleges in total, Marquette university was my first college I attended followed by college of dupage where I am almost at enough credits to receive a bachelor degree in science/illinois/chicago">computer science.
Experience
As a resourceful member of my community I have had past experiences of tutoring since my sophomore year in high school where a friend of the family encouraged me to help a colleagues daughter with her math. Being my first time my confidence was low and I wasn’t sure how helpful I was really being until I recieved a letter 3 weeks later saying her math improved by 2 grading letters which gave me the confidence to help two more students later in life.
Approach
As a student and middle and high school math always came particular easy. My freshman pre calc teacher along with my mom strongly encouraged me to take accelerated classes after seeing how well I helped classmates before, during and after school. Now being a tutor but also remember my struggles as a student I hope to instill the same confidence within clients and give them a real world approach on how problem solving should be taking step by step.
