I enjoy fishing, singing, riding horses, and many other outdoor activities.
While in high school I was active in my school's Key Club, Pre-Med Club, and participated on the school's Mock Trial Team where we were District Champs.

About Me

I am an Elementary Education Major planning to get my Master's in Speech Pathology. I graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Miami, Florida and I am currently attending Florida International University.

As an Elementary Education Major I am required to do field hours working hands on with students. I have some miami">tutoring experience. Recently, I have started working with a first grader who is having difficulty with letter sound correspondence.

I understand that patience is key to helping students learn. Repetition and finding new approaches when teaching a concept are necessary in helping students with academic difficulties.
