Fun Facts
I took American Sign Language in high school to meet my foreign language requirements and found that I loved it so much I wanted to keep going with it. I decided to minor in Deaf Studies in college and I have found it surprisingly useful.
About Me
I graduated from sacramento">California State University, Sacramento with a bachelors of science in biochemistry and I am currently pursuing a masters of science in organic chemistry. I love science and math and I my future goal is to become a pharmaceutical scientist.
Experience
While I was in my junior and senior year of undergrad I was taking upper division courses. My experience in these classes allowed me to help other students that were in lower division math and science classes. I have a passion for teaching and helping people and I enjoy sharing my love for math and science with people.
Approach
School is something that never came naturally to me. I do not think that any one individual is destined to be better off educationally because of natural abilities. I firmly believe that with hard word and dedication everyone can do what they set there mind to. I believe in teaching and conveying messages clearly and giving students a chance to try things on their own before giving assistance. I think all successes should be celebrated and positive reinforcement is key.

American Sign Language Tutoring
I minored in Deaf Studies in my undergraduate studies. I have taken 4 years of sign language and am educated in Deaf history and Deaf culture.
