Fun Facts
One thing people quickly learn about me is that I love to be outdoors. When I'm not in class or meeting up for study groups, I'm usually outside - hiking, swimming, fishing, you name it!
About Me
I am a senior mechanical engineering student in the Lyles College of Engineering Honors Program at Fresno State. I love animals and painting, and I hope to attend grad school and make a positive impact on my community as an engineer.
Experience
I really enjoy working with people of all ages. I have experience tutoring high school, middle school and elementary school students in multiple subject areas, such as math, science, English and writing. Working for Frog Tutoring allows me to continue helping people learn!
Approach
I have always loved school and learning. I had tutors throughout high school and college who helped me with trigonometry, calculus and physics, and their positive attitude and patience helped me immensely! I try to give the students I tutor that same experience. I understand how it feels to be so lost in a class that you don't even know what to ask a tutor, and I enjoy figuring out exactly what a student needs help with!

Calculus I Tutoring
I took this class as a high school sophomore and had a phenomenal teacher. I received an A in the class and a 5 (highest score possible) on the AP Calculus BC exam and have experience tutoring high school students in this subject.
Calculus 2 Tutoring
I took this class as a high school junior and had a phenomenal teacher. I received an A in the class and a 5 (highest score possible) on the AP Calculus BC exam and have experience tutoring high school students in this subject.
Calculus 3 Tutoring
I took this class as a freshman at Fresno State and received an A. I use knowledge of this class in many classes I am taking today, so I am very comfortable with this material.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I took this class as a sophomore in high school and received an A. I love this subject and have experience tutoring high school students in this class.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I absolutely love reading, and I do very well on reading comprehension sections of exams. I have received an A in all English classes I have ever taken and love to help people learn to read/understand the point an author is making.
Study Skills Tutoring
I love to study and have figured out a method that works very well for me - note taking, reading textbooks before attending class, using a planner, etc. I enjoy helping students figure out what type of learner they are - visual, auditory, etc - and then designing a custom study plan just for them!
