Fun Facts

I've played music for most of my life and have played several different instruments. Right now, I'm learning how to play the bass! I also have a passion for photography, cooking, and screenwriting. I've been playing lacrosse since middle school and I'm currently a goalie for the GW team. I also love dogs and hope to adopt a Golden Retriever someday!

About Me

I'm currently a junior at washington-university">George Washington University studying Spanish, communications, and film studies. I've also been lucky enough to study in Spain twice: once in high school as a student and once this past summer as a TA on a trip run by my high school! After graduation, I would like to secure a job in Spanish-speaking marketing or media, or possibly move to a Spanish speaking country.

Experience

As a high school student, I tutored students at my local synagogue in order to prepare them to read Torah at their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. While my tutoring experience is not extensive, I feel that my experiences with Spanish both in and out of the classroom have allowed me to speak the language comfortably, and therefore feel comfortable teaching. I look forward to gaining more experience with Frog Tutoring!

Approach

In my opinion, the most important obstacle to overcome when studying Spanish is feeling comfortable with the language. In addition to instruction, I also plan to speak conversational Spanish with students (depending on their level) in order to increase their comfort level with the language. I also think that reading and watching Spanish media is a great way to improve language skills, so I will give recommendations to students as well.
