Fun Facts
As part of the Frog Tutoring family, I have had the opportunity to work with students of various ages and academic levels including test prep for the ASVAB, SAT, and ACT. I love tutoring and I am excited to continue tutoring and help students achieve their academic goals in 2024. I dual majored in Physics and Biochemistry. I completed a graduate degree in Statistics. Science and math are my passions. I love all all sorts of applied math including insurance modeling and business calculus.
About Me
I've been with FrogTutoring for over five years. I have experience tutoring and teaching experience with students of all ages ranging from elementary school to graduate students. I have worked with a variety of students and I am certified by the College Reading & Learning Association (Level 3 Tutor). I have a masters in Statistics. I graduated from the university with a BS in Physics, BS in Biochemistry. I love tutoring for standardized testing and high school and college courses.
Experience
I tutored at my university's tutorial center for two years in math, chemistry, physics, and statistics. I have had the opportunity to work with high school students, first-generation college students, student athletes, and students with disabilities. I have College Reading & Learning Association level 3 certification.
I love to help students learn by helping them identify and learn the patterns in their courses. I have a passion for using methods to break difficult concepts down for students.
Approach
As a first-generation college student, I found the transition between high school and college challenging at times. With the help of various mentors, I was able to overcome my challenges and excel in school. I work with students in a way that is understanding and compassionate of their academic challenges while using detailed and thorough study skills to improve their academic success and improve their academic confidence.
