
Fun Facts
I was the first valedictorian of my high school, Miller Grove High School in Lithonia, GA. I travelled to London, Tanzania, and Zanzibar in a span of a month. I aspire to be a UN Ambassador in the next ten years hopefully. I'm originally from Atlanta, GA and this is my first time in Miami.
About Me
I was born in Montgomery, AL which is the same city where my parents met. I' have four sisters that I truly adore and I am the middle child. Currently, I attend Florida International University pursuing a Masters degree in International Intercultural Education and African Diaspora Studies. I would like to work in the UN Geneva headquarters in the next few years. I have a passion for women's right and their development as human beings locally and globally. I fully embody my role as a global citizen.
During my last year of high school, I was an assistant teacher for an after- school program at Peachtree Academy in Decatur,GA for almost a year. I worked with students from the age of 8-12 . I would help with homework assignments and different projects that the students were completely for the school year.
I believe that being a miami">tutor involving a great deal of patience and creativity. I would love showing the students different ways to solve a problem and try to relate the assignment to their individuals lives. I believe that education is critical to development and should incorporate different aspects of one's life or background. As a future educator, I understand that learning is a process and everyone learns in different ways.
