About Me

I am from Congo, Africa and my first language is French. I speak Swahili as well as English. Been living in the US for 4 years now.

Experience

I had the opportunity to tutor my 2 little brothers when I was around 15. My parents couldn't afford a tutor, both my brothers were struggling with Math and weirdly I was the only one in my family who was good at maths and still am. Today one of my brothers is in his senior year of high and want to do science/california/san-francisco">computer science in college just because there is a lot of maths in it

Approach

I had to learn English upon my arrival in the states, and I know how it can be frustrating. I also know that the best way to learn a language is to have conversation with natives and that is where I am coming to help. My English teachers always made sure I had to speak English outside the class. I want to bring that spirit in my session. A language is not just vocabulary and grammar, if you can understand it, you can speak it!
