About Me
I am a recent graduate from the University of Oregon with a major in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. I am currently pursuing a teaching credential with a bilingual authorization in Spanish. I love the Spanish language and enjoy teaching it. I also love to teach English as a second language. I enjoy working with students of all ages. In addition to tutoring I am also a substitute teacher. This experience has taught me how to better identify students' strengths and challenges.
Experience
I was an English tutor in Spain, and have been both an Elementary and High School Spanish tutor. I am currently a substitute teacher for grades K-8. I lived in Spain for five months where I got the chance to strengthen my Spanish skills that I have learned in school since attending a dual-immersion program since kindergarten.
Approach
I have always worked best with teachers who were willing to approach teaching with an open-mind and recognize the strengths and challenges of each student. I strive to do the same and get to know each student and their best modes for learning.

I was an English tutor while I was in Spain and taught basic English including vocabulary, sentence structure and beginning grammar. I also worked in an English Language School while I was in Spain.
