Fun Facts
I am great at memorizing, studying and learning. When I was in 6th grade, I memorized all of A Midsummer Night's Dream and performed it with stuffed animals for my mom. I love stories and explaining the process of reading and writing.
About Me
I am an English Major at CSU Sacramento, studying for my BA and teaching credential. I want to teach high school English and tutor students in reading and writing.
Experience
I have done both independent tutoring in my neighborhood and worked at the tutoring center of my college. I took a course in tutoring at Sierra College and passed with an A.
Approach
I want to help students learn at their own pace, to understand the fundamentals of writing. I believe that reading, writing, and other forms of education are at their core about communication - about enabling people to put down their feelings and thoughts on the page.
