Fun Facts

I'm an actor--I've performed to audiences of over 4,000 people! I have triple citizenship (US, Chile, and Canada), I'm vegan and I love to cook, and I'm a little obsessed with food chemistry. I also memorized the first sixty digits of Pi one day when I was 10 years old, just for fun, and still know them today!

About Me

Hi! I recently graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY with a B.A. in Drama and a minor in Sustainability. Don't let my major fool you! I graduated with a 3.9 GPA, general & departmental honors, and Phi Beta Kappa. I'm a freshly started SAT/ACT tutor and have previous experience teaching music, reading, writing and math to students ages 7-17.

Experience

Since graduating from college I've been tutoring frequently and consistently to a wide variety of students on a wide variety of topics: I've taught test prep, AP Music Theory, Elementary Math & Reading, French, Spanish, Algebra, and writing. I love being able to revisit all these subjects!

Approach

I'll be honest: I don't want to hold a student's hand through what they're struggling with. I want them to feel empowered to know that they truly understand the material, so that when I'm not around, the work still makes sense. If you need someone who isn't afraid to walk right by your student's side as they figure out what's tripping them up, and will ensure their understanding is thorough and independent of myself, then I'm your gal!
