About Me
I recently graduated with my master's degree from the miami">University of Miami, majoring in Marine Affairs and Policy, with a GPA of 3.838. My goals include starting a career in the Marine policy field, where I can make a difference in protecting our oceans and natural environment from human pollution and negative interactions.
I have attended the miami">University of Miami as an undergraduate as well as for graduate school. I majored in Marine Affairs and Economics and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Affairs, and graduated in December 2013 with a Master of Professional Science in Marine Affairs with an emphasis in Coastal Zone Management. I believe studying at a prominent institution like the miami">University of Miami has provided me with valuable knowledge and skills in a variety of subject areas. I have received high grades in all of my classes and have helped my fellow classmates learn and understand materials we studied.
I am extremely patient, which I believe is very important when trying to teach someone a subject he/she is struggling with. I start by explaining a concept, then doing various examples, and then giving the 'student' their own problems to work on. Upon completion, I would go over the problems and explain any errors that were made to help the student see how they got the problem wrong/help them understand why. I would repeat this process over particular areas of study in which the student had certain trouble with until they are successfully accomplishing tasks on their own.
