Fun Facts
A few of my favorite hobbies are spending time outdoors and crafting. My husband and I have a 1 year old daughter and a beautiful chocolate lab. We love traveling and spending time together with friends and family.
About Me
I am a former teacher in the state of Texas and Ohio. I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Dallas Baptist University in 2012. I truly enjoy teaching children and instilling them with a love for learning.
Experience
In high school I tutored students in Kindergarten and forth grade. After graduating high school, I moved to Dallas to go to college and received a degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught forth grade in Dallas before my husband and I moved out of the state. While living in Ohio I taught Kindergarten, forth, and fifth grades.
Approach
As a teacher and tutor, I bring a calm and relaxing learning environment to my students. I enjoy encouraging my students to do their best work while challenging them to become even better students. I love seeing students learn to love learning, and become willing to push themselves to their best ability.

Early Childhood Education
Elementary Math Tutoring
I received a degree in Early Childhood Education from Dallas Baptist University. I have taught Kindergarten, forth and fifth grade Math. I also had the opportunity to tutor children in my classes who needed the extra support in Math.
Social Studies Tutoring
I received a degree in Early Childhood Education from Dallas Baptist University. I have taught Kindergarten, forth and fifth grade Social Studies. I enjoyed coming up with interactive lessons and activities to engage my students during Social Studies.
STAAR Math Tutoring
I received a degree in Early Childhood Education from Dallas Baptist University. I have taught Kindergarten, forth and fifth grade all subjects, and prepared the upper level students for their STAAR testing. For a short period, I had the opportunity to tutor in Mansfield School district to assist students and teachers in preparing for STAAR testing. I also assisted students who did not pass their STAAR testing, and successfully had 95% of my students pass on their second attempt.
STAAR Prep Tutoring
