Fun Facts

While growing up, I will always look out for damaged gadgets, devices, electronics. I want to unscrew them and find out what the problem is; I don't believe there should be a problem that cannot be fixed. With this, my parents and siblings thought I was going to be an engineer but it was just my curiosity to DISCOVER a problem and SOLVE it. I listen to every conversation clearly and also look for every opportunity to impact knowledge.

About Me

I am a student of master of Biology at Texas Southern University with 3.94 CGPA. I am currently researching the effects of combined inhibition of autophagy and endogenous antioxidants on pancreatic cancer in Immunology laboratory. After my master's program, I will proceed to a Ph.D program in Immunology and ultimately find a career in a research lab and be a professor of Immunology. I am passionate about mentoring my students and seeing them achieve their esteemed goals.

Experience

After high school, I organized a summer tutorial for elementary and middle school students and also served as volunteered tutor for about 6 years where I taught algebra, chemistry and mathematics to freshman and sophomore while in college. Currently, I work as Graduate Teaching Assistant in the department of biology at Texas Southern University where I teach biology to freshman, sophomore and immunology laboratory to seniors.Also,I serve as mentor and teach mathematics to elementary students

Approach

I have very strong to mentor and impact knowledge; this passion propelled me to start private home tutorials which later grew into a summer school. Usually, I seek to build a very good relationship with my student to give them a comfortable environment for learning. Also, I seek to know them and understand their learning style, passion and motivation. With these, I have made irreversible impact in my students over the years and most of them are doing excellently well in their study.
