I love to travel! When I am not in Charlotte I love to spend my time traveling to new parts of the country and world. I enjoy reading, working out, and cooking new foods in my free time!

About Me

I am currently in an accelerated nursing program in Charlotte NC working towards my second Bachelor's Degree. I will be graduating in December and hope to begin working as a labor and delivery nurse. My ultimate goal is to get my DNP in women and family health.

Experience

I taught middle school science for two years in CMS and was a member of TFA where I tutored students who needed additional assistance outside of school. In college I studied abroad in Ecuador and tutored students in english. Upon, re-entering school I miss teaching students and am eager to help other students achieve their goal!

Approach

I have found that one of the most beneficial ways to help a student achieve is to build confidence. Reaching small goals will help them build their confidence in a skill and eventually allow them to reach their ultimate goal. I believe in using out of the box teaching methods including kinesthetics and analogies that work for each individual child to help them learn and understand a topic.
