I am a fun and loving person that enjoys helping people in any possible way. I attended a Christian school from kindergarten all the way through high school where I played basketball, soccer, and swam. I love to watch any level of basketball - from young children to the best players of the NBA. I love to travel and to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading about new fitness and health trends to help me keep up with my own active life style.

About Me

I am a hardworking student in the Exercise Science/Pre-Optometry program at the University of New Mexico. I hope to attend Optometry school in Arizona, Oregon, Oklahoma or Texas. I one day plan to have my own Optometry practice here in New Mexico or somewhere close like Arizona or Colorado. I love science, especially the in the areas of Anatomy, Biology, and Chemistry.

I have a few different experiences in the albuquerque">tutoring field thus far. I volunteered at an after school program to help students with homework as they waited for their parents. I have also helped many kids that I babysit with all different levels and all different subjects.

I believe that it is important to understand a student and their way of learning before you can really help them. I will evaluate each student and their form of learning so I can help each student reach their potential in the most efficient way. Having a very individualistic approach for each student is very important. I will take the time to listen to students and their needs and goals before beginning with them.
