Some fun facts about me are that I love photography! I am the oldest child. I also have a dog named Angel.
About Me
I am a freshman in the Psychology major at Wayne State University. I was on the Dean's List for the Fall 2018 semester. I have a 4.0 G.P.A. When I graduate I hope to pursue my Ph.D. in clinical psychology. My ultimate goal is to be a clinical psychologist with my own practice.
Experience
In high school, I volunteered as an assistant coach for a middle school girls basketball team and I truly loved it because I was able to teach young girls basketball skills that they needed for the game. Not only did the girls learn basketball they learned compassion and patience through my mentoring. In Highschool, I was also a member of the National Honor Society. We tutored other students once a week throughout my senior year in high school.
Approach
Throughout my educational career, I have noticed that there are many different ways for people to learn. One way is not going to be the best way for everyone. I feel as though students will be more open to learning if people take the time to actually try to address their differences in learning. With more patience and understanding, I believe that students will have the tools to become more successful.

College Algebra Tutoring
In my College Algebra class, I received an A. I have practiced many hours in my course trying to perfect this subject.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I am taking Pre-Calculus. I have received perfect scores on the two tests that we have taken. I constantly am there to help my classmates when they are in need of assistance.
Algebra Tutoring
In high school, I received A's and B's in Algebra. In my college algebra class, I received an A. I work very diligently to make sure whoever I am working with is able to understand the problem fully, without me just giving them the answer.
Math Tutoring
I have taken Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics. I believe that I am well-versed in math. With the skills that I have learned from these math classes, I will be able to assist students in learning the concepts they are being taught.

I assisted in a kindergarten classroom, where I assisted students in learning many new topics, math being one of them. I learned many different strategies to help younger students understand the newer math concepts.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I assisted in a kindergarten classroom, where I assisted students in learning many new topics. With the students being younger they were starting to learn how to read. I was able to learn many new techniques on how to help teach them by learning from the teacher.
