About Me

I am an adjunct professor of Chemistry at City University of New York and had many years of experiences in teaching college level chemistry, including Gen Chem I & II and Orgo Chem I & II lectures. I am passionate about inspiring students learn and understand chemistry. In addition to helping students prep for exams, I also advise them on undergraduate research projects, proposal writing, and medical/grad school application.

Approach

First, I aspire to teach more by teaching less. Instead of covering every single topic, I help students understand key concepts and how everything else are build on them. Also I use plenty of examples to break down abstract concepts and teach students how to crack them. Second, I help students achieve success by making a clear and well-structured study plan. I help students identify targets, pick suitable study material and accomplish the goals by doing appropriate amount of work.
