Fun Facts

I am a man of many hobbies. I love reading, playing sports, and singing. And I love doing all of them at the same time. Impossible? Imagine you are going on a camping trip with a book in your hand, and a guitar on your back.

About Me

I am a sophomore Chemical Engineer major at Houston Community College. I hope to attend houston">University of Houston to complete my junior and senior so I can pursue a master in Biochemical Engineer.

Experience

College is a very challenging environment because you have to juggle many tough subjects at the same time. So I came up with an idea to reduce my time of studying. That is to tutor my peers in class. I also spent 1 year to teach English in Vietnam to those who needed to improve their skills. And they loved it.

Approach

I love using analogy to approach many problems whilst studying. It is one of my many mechanisms I developed for myself to tackle abstract and tough subjects.

Chemistry I Tutoring

I successfully aided my professor in tutoring other peers in class to understand the subject. With my simplifying approach, I was able to help my peers advance in the course and got the grades that they wanted.

Chemistry II Tutoring

With a strong foundation in Chemistry I, I had helped many of my peers in my class to understand confusing concepts such as pH, balancing ICE chart, or thermodynamics.

Organic Chemistry I Tutoring

Although it was a very hard course, I was able to get an A in this class by helping other students, which forced me to read even more on the subject to help them with the materials. Furthermore, I also found an alternative ways to simplify the calculation for mass spectrometry that had helped many students in the final exam.

Physics I Tutoring

I scored an A in my University level physics course with an extremely tough professor. Her passing rate was only 30%, but I made it through her class with dedication and hard-work. Furthermore, to secure my grades, I offered to help my friends in class just so I can explain the materials better both for myself and my peers.

Physics II Tutoring

Although the subject of electricity was very unfamiliar to me, I was able to teach myself the subject and got an A in this class.

AP Chemistry Tutoring

Most students would struggle a lot when they study about limiting reactant, but I have got a better way around it to help them understand.

Chemistry Tutoring

I passed Chemistry I and II at college with both A's, and I also helped my professor out in tutoring my peers. Thus, I believe I have what it takes to help those who need to excel in this subject

Physics Tutoring

I once struggled at this subject, but I then found a way to excel in this class and got both A's in University physics I and II
