Fun Facts
I am very passionate about music and have been playing the violin since I was in elementary school! I have always enjoyed writing, especially poetry, which helps me in songwriting and creating my own songs. I love to spend my free time discovering new inspiration and exploring different types of music!
About Me
I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and I currently work as a IONM Neuromonitoring Technician at a local surgery center. I am very passionate about my current work and I do hope to continue my education in the near future! I will be pursuing a Masters in Genetics in the hopes of one day becoming a Genetic Counselor!
Experience
Alongside my passion for Neurophysiology, Pyschology, and Biology, I am passionate about teaching! I was a Camp Counsleor and Director at a local summer camp where we got the opportunity to teach classes on topics ranging from basic science, math, history to robotics and computer software. I have extensive experience with one-on-one tutoring and have developed an amazing learning guide that can be molded to fit each students unique learning goals as efficiently and effectively as possible!
Approach
I believe that improving skills in one area of interest will better your overall performance in other areas of life as well! An education is a powerful tool and the more you know, the more you can accomplish and grow. I am able to assess each students needs and help them to set their own unique, personal learning goals. Then we create a plan to get them there! Learning about each students interests and educational goals will help me to guide them in finding the best path to get there. Seeing each student grow and accomplish the things that they want is the greatest reward!
