Fun Facts
There are 3 direct loves in my overall life: Football, Bad
Movies, and Computers/Retro Gaming. Football because I think it involves a lot of deep analysis, invention, and fore-thought. It's not that I don't like great, good movies, because I do, but I adore 'bad' movies. I'm talking the many swords and sorcery movies and sci-0fi of the early 80s....You know the 60s-70s Monster flicks, and MST3K-worthy fllcks and so on...
About Me
I am central CT born and raised. I got my BS at Penn State and my following MS/PhD at UCONN in later 2009,. I have worked at the University of New Haven, Worcester State University briefly where my tenure was cut short by medical issues, I have since worked in Adjunct roles at Quinnipiac and Bridgeport university
Experience
I was a full-time A at UCONN my 6 years at UCONN in graduate school. I also taught many summers in their CAP program, one summer in the Engineering Bridge program, and at least 1 in the Math program. I then taught for 5 years, full-time at the University of New Haven. Also included perhaps was summer teaching and assistant oversight of the school's then pilot "Math Zone" program. I have also been an adjunct or VAP at three other schools..
Approach
Very traditional. While my expected focus does lead to expectations of certain facts/formulas, these are hardly obscure facts. Memorization in the end, I qualify as easily. done. I am not big on the facts, more about the analysis of those facts.
