I love new technology and gadgets and I am often always fortunate and privileged enough to get my grubby paws on the latest and greatest tech. I enjoy playing tennis, cricket and swimming. I am a marvel and Harry Potter Fan all my life. Most of my time I am busy with club activities and reading medical research articles. I love to challenge myself by taking a new online course other than my major. I love hiking and exploring a new place.

About Me

People find me to be an upbeat, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills. For the past several years I have worked as a Student Assistant at high school, college helping students succeed in their class. I am a Biology and chemistry major at New Jersey city university and after completion of my undergraduate is to go to medical school. The students I worked with were both local and exchange students from various cultures, with differing levels of skill.

Experience

Assisted students in acquiring a better understanding of targeted weak areas within a subject or a subject as a whole. Prepared weekly lesson plans to help students prepare for their courses. Implemented and ran activities for a group of up to 20 children. Generate discussion questions to stimulate topic conversations between students. Analyzed and maintained records of student's progress to each individual needs. Helped individual students prepare for exams like the SAT, ACT, and GED.

Approach

Teach students easier/better methods that are taught in class Help students to focus on just what they need to do well in the course. Drill specific aspects of problem-solving that students find most challenging. For example, many students find that figuring out which strategy to use is the most challenging aspect of solving integrals, and so I work on figuring out the strategy for solving numerous integrals, without getting lost in the algebraic details of actually solving them.
