About Me

I am an adjunct faculty at Salt Lake Community College and teach math 920, 950 and 980. I have an accounting degree from the University of Utah and have worked as a corporate controller for many years. I presently work in the insurance industry.

Experience

I have taught at Salt Lake Community College for seven years, teaching in the developmental math department the entire time. Approach

I am a person who learns by doing so I emphasize having students do problems after I demonstrate. My philosophy is that it is okay to get a problem wrong, that is just part of the learning process. I am very patient and have received many compliments from students on my willingness to go the extra mile for them.
