Fun Facts
In my free time I enjoy running, reading, playing the piano, and spending time with friends. I was a representative of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival in 2013 as a princess which was a fun experience that allowed me to interact with community members in a different way. Some of my favorite things are movie: Forrest Gump, color: purple, animal: giraffe.
About Me
I attended Wenatchee High School in Wenatchee, WA and I am currently a freshman at washington/seattle">seattle-university">washington/seattle">Seattle University pursuing a double major in Humanities for Teaching and Psychology. I have a 4.0 and I ultimately hope to go into school administration at the high school level but before that I would like to teach high school English or Social Studies.
I tutored Spanish and history for a student my junior year of high school consistently for the second semester. I am currently a reading washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutor for sixth graders at the washington/seattle">Seattle Nativity School, where I work twice a week on basic reading and comprehension skills. I am also currently enrolled in a washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutoring class at washington/seattle">seattle-university">washington/seattle">Seattle University where we cover the basics of being a good washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutor.
My approach to washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutoring is to build a strong relationship with my students that enables me to reach them on a more personal level and help both of us grow. I am very focused on the student's individual needs and meeting those first and foremost. I am open to new ideas and methods of communication information and big ideas with students and am very willing to work with parents and teachers to help students see as much success as possible.
