Fun Facts
I enjoy playing basketball with friends when time allows. I spent much of my youth riding bicycles at the professional level and was also very active in other sports such as soccer and football. However, basketball will always be my passion.
About Me
I am a Senior at the University of Arizona, Physiology Major, College of Medicine working on my second degree. I have a degree in Chemistry and a Biochemistry Minor. I have decided to attend a professional graduate program next year, earning a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences. I am currently applying to medical school as my goal is to become a physician. Furthermore, I am an endorsed U of A leader and National Leadership Honor Society member.
Experience
As a student member of the University of Arizona Department of Mathematics Tutoring In The School's program, I tutored Math at a local high-school. I also mentored these Math students helping build their confidence to attend college and continue their education at a higher level. Also, I have held reviews for hundreds of students at the undergraduate and graduate level at the University of Arizona in Chemistry. My tutoring experience is long-standing and I enjoy being a teacher and mentor.
Approach
My friends in Anatomy and Physiology courses constantly tell me that I should be a teacher. My approach is that I start with whatever you know first and build from there, being patient while we get you to the next step. I draw on experiences in tutoring and advanced coursework to guide your studies, ensuring that you receive the best teacher possible. I ask questions along the way to help you solidify knowledge of the material.
